Shelbourne Motors is expanding its Newry multi-franchise complex with a new Maxus dealership focused on van sales.
The partnership will enable Shelbourne Motors to offer dedicated sales and aftermarket services for new and used Maxus light commercial vehicles to customers across Northern Ireland.
Andrew Setterfield has been recruited by Shelbourne Motors as Maxus Sales Manager to lead the brand’s sales strategy at the family vehicle retailer.
Shelbourne Motors opened its multi-franchise site in 2019, following a £5m investment.
Paul Ward, Director of Shelbourne Motors, said: “We are delighted to partner with Maxus to bring the global carmaker’s commercial vehicles to our state-of-the-art Newry site for drivers and van operators across Northern Ireland. .
The Maxus line of vehicles includes the all-electric eDeliver 3 which is a cross between a small to medium van and the larger eDeliver 9.

Shelbourne Motors employs over 170 people at its Portadown and Newry dealerships. The Maxus partnership adds to existing Toyota, Renault, Nissan, Kia and Dacia franchises, as well as a used car supermarket, vehicle rental division and valet center.
