Chester T. Dean February 9, 2022 2 min read

Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines. Launching today, an exclusive new premium car rental service in Australia – Porsche Drive Rental – unleashes the beast and roars the Great Ocean Road, with a chance to get behind the wheel of the latest Porsche sports cars.

The delight of white knuckles, the unmistakable purr of the engine, and the thrill as you zip along the long curves of a coastal highway…it’s not your typical rental car.

Already a huge success internationally, particularly in Germany where drivers can really push premium vehicles to their limits on the motorway, short-term rentals are an opportunity to live out the dream of a luxury car. sport or to get an idea before spending money on a new flash ride.

Sure, you could rent a Camry, but wouldn’t you rather be driving a 718 Boxster S?

Melbourne is the first Australian city to stand out, with the 911 Carrera 4S, 718 Boxster S and all-electric Taycan 4S just some of the incredible vehicles available from day one.

Pricing for a sleek 718 Boxster S in Agate Gray starts at $718 per day, while the legendary 911 Carrera S in Carmine Red will set you back an appropriately priced $911.

Simply create a profile at porsche.com.au/drive, choose your preferred model, select the rental period, collect the car from the Porsche Center Melbourne valet and, sadly, return it when you’re done.

Melbourne is destined to be the first of many Porsche Drive rental centres.
