Drive Motor Retail recognized its top performers at an awards ceremony in Bristol.
The AM100 Dealer Group’s annual OverDrive Awards Dinner was hosted this year by its co-CEOs Rob Keenan and Stuart Harrison.
More than 250 employees from across the company, which operates car and van dealerships Vauxhall, MG and Citroen, attended the event at the Bristol Harbor Hotel.
Keenan said: “It was fantastic to be able to bring together so many team members to recognize the incredible achievements of the past 12 months. After not being able to organize the awards last year, we wanted to give the team a truly memorable celebration in 2021 after having had a good year of trading following the effects of the pandemic.
“Everyone has worked very hard to exceed our targets and we are all looking forward to some very exciting plans for 2022.”
Drive Bury St Edmunds was named Top Dealer and the achievements of over 60 Drive employees were recognized during the evening.
Harrison added: “As a company, we know that we are never as successful as our team. The OverDrive awards are a great way to celebrate the talent of the people we have at Drive and we were able to unveil some exciting plans to improve our benefits program through 2022.”
Drive Motor Retail is one of the UK’s largest privately held motor retail groups with a turnover of around £250m a year and over 700 colleagues employed in 16 dealerships across the country.
Over the past year, the company has expanded its range of manufacturers with the opening of three MG franchised dealerships and a Citroën site.
The retailer set out to streamline its customer contact processes this year, using THREE360’s CRM system, and now uses data cleansing to ensure it targets customers who have a high likelihood of buying a vehicle or to use the company’s maintenance and service department.
